1827 White is based on Chardonnay, a variety which, although French, has been cultivated in the region for over forty years, with the participation of Roditis, a local Greek variety in percentage 70%-30%. Vinification at low temperatures and short maturation provided a wine with pale colour, intense aromas of fresh yellow fruits, while on the palate the hints of sweetness are balanced from the refreshing acidity. 1827 White is ready to be drunk now but can easily be aged over the next 2 to 4 years. The personality of this wine makes it ideal for a variety of flavours and tastes and therefore for meals that many dishes are served at the same time. However, it will show its best next to any fish and seafood dish.
